HOPE foundation's Senior Leadership team
Chief Executive Officer and Executive Committee member Mark Templer has been instrumental in the establishment, functioning, and growth of HOPE foundation. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Physics with specialization in Particle Physics from M.I.T., Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA and a M.Sc. degree in Economics, with a research project on Indian Economic Development from the London School of Economics, London. He also holds a B.Sc degree in Political Science with specialization on entrepreneurship in small industry from M.I.T., Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.
Mark’s vision and work has been a driving force behind HOPE foundation establishing 21 “Centres of HOPE” across India in 22 cities, villages, and towns catering to over 200,000 people each year.
Executive Committee Members
Chief Development Officer Ian Correa is spearheading HOPE foundation’s networking efforts, as well as many of the educational and vocational training programmes. Ian is currently based in Bangalore and has been working with HOPE since 1992.
Chief Programme Officer Dr. Ashok Kumar Prabath has developed HOPE foundation’s HIV/AIDs and medical work, apart from other key initiatives. A qualified doctor, Ashok has been passionate about providing adequate healthcare to the deprived and downtrodden in India.
Chief Finance Officer Gimms Andrews is responsible for all administration, financial, and legal matters of HOPE foundation. Although Gimms is originally from Kerala in South India, he was born and brought up in West Africa and has been serving with HOPE foundation for more than a decade.
